Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center has created an online GIST nomogram tool that can be used be used for patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) to predict the chance they will survive without their cancer returning after receiving surgery alone – i.e. without receiving post-surgery chemotherapy. It may also be used to select patients for adjuvant imatinib therapy.
