GCRF Donates $165,000 to University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute
The GCRF recently donated $165,000 to Dr. Anette Duensing Lab (at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute) to help find a cure for GIST. Dear Tania and Robert, dear Chris and Katie, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you as well as everyone else at GCRF ever so much for the last check presentation on Monday! We were all really overwhelmed and can't tell you enough how much we appreciate what you are doing. As always, it was so good seeing both of you, Tania and Robert, as well as to meet new friends. Chris and Katie, thank you so much for coming out to Pittsburgh all the way from California! Dr. Anette Duensing

Thank you for your support in helping to eradicate this rare cancer. All funds were raised through donations. None of these funds came from any pharmaceutical companies. All members of the Board of Directors of Gist Cancer Research Fund are volunteers and receive no compensation.
